Ivory-Billed Woodpecker/ Female
This rare woodpecker was thought to be extinct until a couple of years ago when several people claimed to have seen one in the swamps of Arkansas. I made this one right before that news came out, as one of a nesting pair. The male was bought by someone who mistook it for a Pileated. Luckily, being made of clay, it can survive in a cold climate better than a real Ivory-Bill!
